Tesla Model 3 Hong Kong Taxi — Design

While traveling in Hong Kong, I was amazed at the number of Teslas zooming around on the island amidst a sea of red HK Taxis. If you’ve ever been to Central on the Island side you’ll know what I mean by the sheer concentration of Teslaaas (guess I’m not the only one)! I actually call it out every time I see one on the road :)

This got me thinking how awesome it’d be if the current LPG, Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Taxis (WTF is that?) were not only replaced by EVs but the Tesla Model 3 (now $35k and more affordable). To appease my imagination, I collaborated with Adrian at Design4Anyone to see how a Tesla Model 3 might look like as an iconic HK Taxi. Here is the final render we came up with…
